Alexey Kuchaev is the IFS corporate finance expert. His professional interests encompass the oil and gas sector and innovative technology.

Mr. Kuchaev graduated from the Moscow Physics and Technology Institute in 1999 with honors.

At the IFS he focuses on the oil market, financial derivatives market (futures and options), analysis of manufacturing and financial activities of domestic and foreign oil companies and project evaluation.

His research interests include applied macroeconomics, mechanism design theory and auction theory. Mr. Kuchaev is working over a Ph.D. degree thesis 'Choosing an Optimal Mechanism for Allocation of Rights to Use Mineral Resources (in the context of oil industry)' at the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Science.

In 2007, he has been awarded the Federal Financial Markets Service certificate of a financial market expert in broker and dealer activities, securities management, investment funds, mutual funds and non-governmental investment funds management.
